History:

Like many companies, Rich-Tek’s foundation has been built on the shoulders of a single, dedicated, and inspiring individual. Mr. Wayne Eklof was well versed in the pump world before he established the company. He worked on the shop floor at Wilron, an established pump manufacturer, and put in countless hours working on all aspects of pumps. But Wayne had his own ideas and there was little doubt we would play a leading role in the local pump business when he finally established Rich-Tek Industries Ltd. In 1989. The company quickly developed a reputation for its technical know-how and more importantly, customers were treated with care and respect. Over the years, the company slowly grew and developed many strategic relationships with several fire pump and controller manufacturers and soon became specialists in fire pump testing, maintenance, and repairs. This blossomed into other related fields such as controllers, domestic systems, pressure reducing valves, etc. Most recently, Rich-Tek has become the de-facto commissioning agent for fire pumps and has set the “gold standard” in the industry. Our commitment to training and our solid reputation remains unchanged to this day.
